Here’s How Physicians Were Celebrated on Doctors’ Day 2022

Doctors' Day was celebrated on March 30th as a day to celebrate doctors, and say "Thank you!" for all of their accomplishments, and hard work keeping patients healthy! There are so many ways to celebrate physicians on Doctors' Day! Here's how some programs, med schools, and even some therapy dogs celebrated YOU:

8 Ways Doctors’ Day Was Celebrated

Did you know that the red carnation is the symbolic flower of National Doctors' Day? Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine gave out cookies and red carnations to their future physicians! 


St. Chris Pediatric Residency celebrated with a bagel breakfast and a special poster with candy. 

 

 

The SIUH General Surgery residents were celebrated with special Doctors' Day cakes! Yum 

 

Oklahoma State Pediatrics residents were also celebrated with cake! 

 

These furry friends (therapy dogs) at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center posted this happy Doctors' Day message to celebrate physicians!

 

Rainbow Pediatric Residency had an entire appreciation week! With donuts, art therapy, pizza, drum session, pancake breakfast, Jeopardy, and a raffle! What an awesome way to celebrate! 😍

 

The Johns Hopkins All Children's Pediatric Residency Program celebrated with a wellness breakfast. 

 

UofL Med-Peds Residency celebrated with a gourmet meal and had some fun giveaways.
