    Pediatric Updates from "Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes - 2022"

    Eric Sherman, MD, of Children's Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha, explains the new recommendations for medical care for children and young adults with type 1 and type 2 diabetes from the American Diabetes Association.  

    These updates for 2022 focus on changes in:

    • Diagnosing patients with diabetes
    • COVID vaccination
    • New diabetes technology
    • Management recommendations
    • Simplifying the annual screening recommendations for management of the disease
