Meet the Educators behind the Medical Student Study Strong System—Mark Corkins, MD

By now, you've probably heard about the Medical Student Study Strong System. And, most importantly, how it's an evidence-based learning system with three essential components that work together to ensure you truly LEARN the foundations of medicine in med school—in the easiest way possible.

To that end, we worked with expert physician educators to help us craft all the content in the Medical Student Core and Step 1 and Step 2 Qbank+, and we think it’s time for you to meet them!

Q- What stood out to you most about the Medical Student Study Strong System?

A- What makes this product valuable for medical students is that you have some of the very best experts, folks teach for a living, and who've taken all that experience about what's important and distilled it down into one volume. Really, every piece of information in the Student Core is golden.

Q- Tell us a little bit about the sections you worked on. What makes it a great learning tool?

A- What I'm most proud of is the inclusion of some embryology in the pediatrics book. If you know how things develop in the first place, it makes sense how things go wrong. Sometimes, we get in the mode of "just tell me what I need to know," but it's hard when you're trying to "just know what you need to know," if you have a true understanding, it'll stick with you forever!
